multi-tool useful?

I have a new one of these sitting in the box. My only use of these tools has been hacking my way through home interior trim adjustments/repairs/replacements. Never thought of a use for the tool in instrument making.

Has any one used one of these for guitar making/finishing and thought well of it? And which function(s)?
