Using cheap HF clamps - drill out the pin on the top part of the clamp, toss that part, and drill a hole where the pin was, large enough to it a 1-2" long screw and nut.

Drill some holes in your bench large enough to accomodate the clampe, push the clamp into the hole with the screw at an angle, and the screw will right itself once the clamp is inserted. Now you have a clamp without buying the t-track and all that. 'Course the t-track is way cool too.

You're going to put Festool out of business with your crazy shenanigans. Good job. Just one question - hot hide glue, or fish?

Different jobs, different glues. Of the two you mentioned, I prefer the fish. And a side of cole slaw. :-)

As an aside, I've been reading through Bogdanovich's book, loaned to me by our own John Parchem, and JSB uses what appears to be Titebond Original for everything (that I've seen thus far) - even for laminating the sides. Very interesting.
