Probably been asked before - but what is the minimum remaining kerfing width after routing the binding channel? Safe, but minimum?

The triangular lining is very fragile at the inside edge (not sure what the normal width is) I'd say a combination of .08 binding and .125 purfling is considered approaching the wild side.

RR is much more forgiving since the channel is still supported by the full height of the lining.

Thanks, I forgot to say that it is RR kerfing I was referring to. Good!

Most kerfed lining is 6 mm wide, but I've built an OM with 4 mm wide lining from a classical supplier. It looks scary small, but the guitar still is in good shape.
