spokeshave choices

I think I want to buy a spokeshave to use for neck shaping. Woodcraft has their 'Wood River' tool on sale, now thirty-five bucks. There's Stanley spokeshaves available for about half that price. Hong Kong tools are way under ten bucks. No idea of which to buy or what to shop for.
Suggestions, comments, advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks, folks.

I bought a cheap HF shave years ago, never could cut anything with it. I have two kits from Lee Valley waiting for me to make a small and large spoke shave. I think those are going to be the cats meow.

Peter,
At first I did my neck shaping with a spokeshave from Veritas. But over the years I use it less and less.
At the moment I do the bulk shaping with the Stewmac Dragon rasp. Simple, fast and effective.
Well, 2ct.

Rotary rasp in a drill motor and plus (+1) one for the Dragon file!
I have yet to get a good clean cut with my "curved" spoke shave, I am sure its because I am a dunce when it comes to sharpening techniques --- I gave up long ago.
