I think I would pass for a few of reasons. On curved guitar plates or even flat plates it would be too easy to turn the sharp corner into the wood. It would be hard to sharpen so after 4 edges you would be buying new blades. I would rather use a chisel as a scraper, a heavy duty razor blade or a utility blade to remove glue from joints. All of the applications where they were scraping on the top of a board would be better served with a cabinet scraper or plane.
