Engelmann spruce not popular?

Don't see a lot of Engelmann spruce tops around here. How come? I think it is perfect for smaller guitars.
Bigger trees seem to get scarce. I got some great tops from the Canadian Rockies, but non of my buyers want it. Unfamiliarity is my guess.

It is well liked in the classical market. All of the spruces overlap each other quite a bit in terms of density and stiffness. I have had adi or red spruce that tested right in the Englemann spruce range and visa versa. My guess it is just a unfamiliarity, perception or a tradition thing.
