A friend just showed up and gifted me one of these; he'd bought it for $20 used a number of years ago. I checked ebay and they are selling for up to $150 now.
This one is a little rough but everything works, and reading through the manual, it does a number of things that we could use it for.
I should buy him a beer.
I'll put some wood/cork in place of the hard plastic and start using it right away.

Re: A new (to me) vise
That should be a pretty good beer, Dave. Maybe a Bell's Hopslam or Exhibition Stout. (Two of Kalamazoo's most intense brews.)

Good idea John but alas, the drive from Medford to Kazoo for a beer, albeit a great Stout, is a wee excessive! :-)

Nice vise, I've seen those on Ebay before. You better throw in a fine cigar too.
