American vs European sound

Post by Herman » Mon Apr 04, 2016 6:46 am

My latest "client" wants a ss guitar from me and he discribes the desired sound as "European". As opposed to "American".
I know people hear differences , but I have really no clue what the differences are in building.

Does anyone have an explenation?
Thanks, Herman

Sorry Ken, that I overlooked that one. Thanks.
Could the pattern be projected to a Martin style Jumbo M bodyshape?
