My Latest Commission Build

Post by Tim Benware » Tue Jan 19, 2016 7:00 pm

Here's my latest commission build. It is my take on a Tony Rice Tribute. It has an SJ shape, a Sitka spruce top, with Honduras Rosewood back, sides, finger board, and bridge with Ivoroid bridge pins, mahogany neck (satin nitro finish), forward shifted X bracing, enlarged sound hole, 21 frets, abalone headstock and FB inlay, Ivoid binding and rosette, herringbone purfling, 1 11/16" bone nut and bone saddle, 2 1/8" bridge spacing, Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners, D'Addario EJ16 strings, dark brown tortoise pick guard and gloss nitrocellulose finish.
