The neat thing about building guitars is imagining how many hands will play it and who it gets handed too through generations. So a guitar that's treated properly in its life really could last forever. Just a cool thought.

I have to admit I've thought about the fact that artifacts that I have constructed will certainly be around long after I am gone. Actually I had an art show customer mention that a condition of the sale was that I had signed the inside of a hammer dulcimer I had made.

I am thinking this little harp will have a long life -- last I heard its in California. I am thinking I should make time to build another to keep in the family -- its just under 5' tall, they are very cool! And yes the photo was taken on the putting green I had in my front lawn in Brighton MI -- I'd like to have one of those again too.
