I have read the neck set angle document (that is linked to the kit instructions) many times. It is very well written and I think that I understand most of it. There is one thing that was unclear to me.
If I sand the top perfectly flat, and then sand the desired angle from the waist to the heal block to impart the next set angle on the "under the finger board" section of the top then what is to be done, if anything, with the lower bout? In my case, my top has a 28' radius.
Should I attempt to impart the 28" radius from the waist to the end block such that the contour of the top's lower bout matches the lower bout rim / tail block radius or not?
Appreciate your feedback on this,
Dan

Re: neck set angle document
If the rim is beveled to a 28' radius the outside edge to the of the ribbon lining is about .008" difference. Close to perfectly flat in wood working tolerances. I believe its Santa Cruz that does it both way, the claim is that putting that slight bevel decreases the bass response slightly increasing the perceived treble response.
