I have one of these, put back in the box once I tested it for runout. Do these things have any use, or is a donation to the Sally the best use for them? Hate to give up on it entirely if I can find some benefit from using it.
Many thanks

It will work OK -- not for fine work with a small diameter bit. Cutting round overs and chamfers should be OK. A bearing guided bit will work OK too.

Ken, thanks. Sounds like for general carpentry-style routing, it will work well enough to get a job done within the limits of its motor, but don't try to do the sorts of things we use a router for in lutherie.
