My fourth guitar is finished. It is a Martin style size 2 (Ken's template) that was my first all scratch build. The only thing I had done was the slotted fretboard. Lots of new things to learn on this one (like grain orientation on the neck). This one is for my wife, she says is going to learn to play, really! I have to say I am impressed with the voice on this little guy. Much louder that I would have thought. And it is a lot of fun to play, very comfortable. Thanks to all in this forum for comments and advice.

Here's the details:
24.75 scale
Black walnut back and sides
Engleman spruce top
Redheart/walnut/maple end wedge
Redheart back strip
Redheart rosette and bindings
Mahogany neck laminated with maple and walnut
Ebony fingerboard with pearl shamrocks - 16" radius
Slotted head/walnut plate with pearl inlay
Bone nut/saddle/bridge pins
Brazilian rosewood pyramid bridge
Grover tuners
Tru oil finish

That's a beautiful guitar - and the back wood is really stunning!

I only have this to say (and I'm not smiling because my collar is too tight):

Great looking John. With your striping, a man can see it is special from a mile.
Keep going.
