My third guitar is finished. It is a Gibson style J45 that was my first non-kit build. All in all I think it came out pretty well despite a few challenges along the way. Thanks to all in this forum for comments and advice. Ken, thank you for your kits, guidance and inspiration that has led me here. Truly a bedrock foundation.
Here's the details:
24.75 scale
Ambrosia Maple back and sides
Sitka spruce top
Bloodwood/Brazilian rosewood/maple end wedge
Bloodwood/Wenge/Maple back strip and truss rod cover
Bloodwood bindings
Maple neck
Wenge fingerboard with pearl dots - 12" radius
Wenge head plate with pearl inlay
Wenge bridge

Next one has been started!

Well JJ that looks great. I love Wengé. Ringy tonewood that really shows under a finish.
Well done! Keep 'em coming.

Really nice guitar, that back strip is great, and the matching truss rod cover too - congratulations.
