Anyone have a reliable source from ebay for back and side sets?

Aaron Hix. Everything is flat and stable, quartered if he describes it as such. I have gotten over 20 sets from him. I bid low and either get it or not. There will always be another set just about like it. I do not purchase what he considers "premium" stuff, which is usually Buy It Now. Average price for quartered Wenge has been about $40. Sometimes it goes for way more than that, but not to me.

Well, the wood is good. The trick is to get a price that is good too.

Not sure these guys are on Ebay -- but if you can re-saw they have some nice domestic hardwoods and they mail order. I have not used them is a while, they are not main stream but may be worth a few emails.

Goosebay is a great place. They specialize in maple.

I have used them both for wood in furniture building and for Shaker Oval Box material
