Another story. Moral: Be careful with bad comment

Most of the time we tell each other the things we like or what works for us. But sometimes we tell about a product or style of work we don't like. Here's a story how the latter can get out of control.
We had this first alcohol-free beer from Heineken around 1988, called Buckler. It was on the market for a year or so, when a comedian kept mention it in his new year show on national tv. He thought is was funny when he made several jokes about the beverage. His message was: Buckler tastes like horsepee and is for the sissies, the disturbed and women.
After this show, no bottle of Buckler was sold anymore. Heineken had to close down the production line after that. Fortunately Heineken was strong enough to survive this misfortune, otherwise jobs had been lost. But since, over here we refer to this Buckler-incident when one is heavily criticising a product in public. So a lesson for us all.
BTW: I disliked the Buckler too.
