Sale on thick veneers

Some good clearance at Certainly Wood under the section "special thickness".
For instance - some really nice Walnut, at 1/16" or .0625" - $1.75 to $2.50 a square foot.
So - for sides I would want to sand the material to .045" and then laminate two pcs together per side. That leaves some good room for sanding later on.
For the back - four pcs, two per side, jointed and joined. Or if I want, I can purchase 16" wide veneers and have a seamless back.
If I purchase 10 sq ft, I have enough for the back and sides, solid linings, the back reinforcement strip, headplate veneer and a rosette, if I wanted to go that way. I always get a couple of sq ft extra so I don't have to worry that I'll come up short.
So around $25 plus shipping, and the product is very good. The laminated sides can be marketed as 'double sides', truthfully. and the laminated back as 'solid wood' truthfully, as some manufacturers have done.
