Are any of you to the point that you're using spreadsheets to track what guitar building materials you have on hand - year cut, wood species, source, stock, etc?
I've started to gather a few pieces of wood for my stash - B/S, tops, brace stock, etc, and realizing it would be wise to get a system in place to track what came from where.
I have Excel and Numbers, but am not a spreadsheet guy by nature - would appreciate a little inspiration if anyone would be up for sharing their process / setup.

I thought about it but I don't keep stuff around long enough to need to.

Haven't thought about doing that

Perhaps you could download one of the free inventory control software programs? Don't need to use all of the features.

I don't want too go crazy with tracking the little pile of wood I have, but maybe something to list it out. I'll look into a simple inventory template for Excel/Numbers.
Ken, I like the simple spreadsheet your kits ship with that state the material / size /specs for each component of the instrument. I'm think about making something like that as well - maybe include measurements like weight and stiffness/deflection of key components.
