Woodslicer / KerfMaster Bandsaw blades

I'm ready to upgrade the old used / rusty blade on my bandsaw and have had several recommendations for the Wood Slicer from Highland Woodworking. I've ready many great reviews as well.

Further research suggests that the Lenox KERFMaster, from Spectrum Supply, is the same Atlanta Sharptech blade stock.

They appear to have the same dimensional specs.

Have any of you had first hand experience with the KERFMaster?

The cutting tips on the Woodslicer appear to have additional processing -- hardening? Don't know? But I'd check that out for a true comparison. $17 for a 105" is a pretty good deal. I'll likely give a couple a try. Thanks

They do and I suspect that may be the difference in price but don't know how that may equate to cut. I use the wood slicer and it works great. Tempted to try the other though myself.

I'll ask them about the hardened tips.

They do mention "After the teeth are set, the blade goes into a hardening process which makes the teeth last longer, even at sub-zero temperatures." They don't state a specific Rc Hardness as Highland does for the Wood Slicer ( 65-67).

I'll let you know what I hear back.

I've been having great success with the Woodslicer 1/2" on my Steel City saw. Resawn 10" tall Sapele, maple, walnut, cherry..has done a superb job
