Hi all,

Can I set the bridge position for a left handed guitar using my kmg tool?

Thanks.

The bridge setter sets the high E saddle position (the pin fits is in the saddle slot) relative to the fret board indexing built in to the setter. A left handed guitar would have a bridge with reversed saddle intonation. Unmodified on a left handed guitar with the strings reversed it would be setting the low E and putting the bridge in the wrong location.

The bridge itself will be in the same position right-or-left handed. You already know that the saddle slot will be different.

I have never modified the two that I have, but it looks like you can drill a hole on the other side and put the pin there. On mine there was a little extra wood on the right hand treble side near the pin. But it does look like it is possible. You can match the measurement from one of the fret slot index slots.

Okay, NOW I see what you were asking. My bad.
