Thanks for posting this Dave. Woot is a strange site, not much offered that I could find - maybe you know how to navigate it. If Amazon is the Walmart of the internet, Woot is the entrepreneur set up in the parking lot of a local general store.
I bought the 61 inch model. For some time making a new workbench for guitar work has been on my list. Now the issue is reduced to assembling a new workbench. It does look like the result will be sturdy. I was tempted to get the 43 incher, just because geometry would favor it being stronger, but for an extra 20 bucks, the extra 18 inches seemed worth both the money and the gamble.
Shipping charges at Woot are just $5 per order, no matter what is in the order. This case, a lot.

I just looked at Lowe's and Amazon: the same bench is priced at $340. There are two detailed reviews of it at Amazon, both 5 stars.
I may add a couple of upper rails beneath the top.

Some interesting policy statements from Woot:
1. If you receive your item and it doesn't work, contact the manufacturer first. They made the junk. Let them deal with it. If they turn out to be total tools [sic], contact
info@woot.com and we'll grudgingly provide some further assistance.
2. If you receive your item and decide you don't like it, hold a garage sale or pawn it off on one of your so-called friends. We don't want it, either.
3. Pay attention to the delivery estimate when choosing your shipping method for your orders. Pay attention, also, to the literal meaning of the word "estimate".
4. Today, everything changes, especially your tolerance for paying List Price.
This is what you get along with their bottom shelf pricing. I researched the history of this product on their site, and the first very good price has been gradually reduced to the current insanely great one.
Finally, in the blog comments about this product, just about every word contains a silent "j", in honor apparently of the Swedish language and the manufacturer's brand: Sjobergs. Seems like everyone connected with the site is in a race to be funny. Fortunately, if you register and buy through Amazon, as I did, Amazon backs them up. "The condition of the item you buy and its timely delivery are guaranteed for qualified purchases under the Amazon A-to-z Guarantee" says Amazon Payments.

I've purchased a few things from Woot!, and have received as advertised. I am thinking about that 61 incher as well.

They say this price will be good for just two more days or until "sold out". Previous ads at higher prices were worded similarly. So, there is a chance the next price will be less. There is also a chance the next one will be higher, or perhaps, no price at all because their stock actually "sells out".
