If you find a little time, a pic or two of what a block banjo rim is? Always interesting to see what someone else does.
Dave

There doesn't seem to be a forum for banjo stuff here, so I'll post a couple of pics of my rims here. This one is maple and walnut.

And this one is all walnut.

Good to see someone on here interested in banjos. I too would love to fine a builders/repair forum for banjo and mandolin too for that matter. If you hear of any let me know. Maybe we could start something as well.

Hey Dan!
Welcome to the forum! Nice to see you here!

Dan makes some pretty killer banjos. If there is interest, we might be able to persuade him to post a banjo build. Whaddaya say Dan?

I don't currently have a banjo build in process. I've got a handful of customer rims to finish the lathe work for. But I can post three youtube videos of my rim making process. This will keep you busy till I start a banjo for a friend as soon as I complete his rim - in about a week.
