No Power no internet -- Litchfield MI

So a storm "can" knock out one's "cable" internet service! Down two days now -- at a hot spot right now.

Fiber optic, such as U-Verse, is more reliable. Cable depends upon electrical company powered amplifiers to maintain the signal, while fiber optic and twisted pair are charged directly on their lines.
