I'll let you be the judge and check out the YouTube videos -- they are "Riversong" guitars -- very weird construction and to my ear very weird sound -- like "no" bass. Plus I am sure Trevor Gore will appreciate that the are using his head stock design.

Just Google Riversong guitars -- I really don't want to post a link.

I thought a lot about the design, it was hard to relate as I had almost nothing to relate it to. I was wondering what keeps the bridge from over rotating rotating under the string pressure. My guess is the tops are a bit thicker to be stiff without braces. No 14th fret hump.
Ken have you heard one for real? In all of the utubes I found it did not sound very good at all. Like you said no bass. I would watch the player hitting bass notes but I could not hear them.

I have not -- I listened to the batch of YouTube vid's most were promotional and I am thinking -- what were they thinking, The adjustable neck intrigues me but to me they sound like a solid body guitar unplugged -- a little louder.

I agree John there is nothing in that "banjo neck attachment system" that I can see that would allow for a lighter overall bracing system -- like you said the bridge is still going to rotate and the area around the sound hole will still want to go concave -- maybe more since there is no shoulder brace?
