Dang. I've been having trouble keeping my old 12" Craftsman band saw tracking correctly - finally this morning discovered that the table has a crown to it that is throwing everything out of whack.

A new table is not to be found - the part number is listed on various sites, but is followed by the dreaded word ''obsolete."

Would it even be worth it to have my table ground down or whatever? I only paid $150 for the saw in the first place,

Can't you make a flat plywood plate on top of your table?

BTW: Ever wondered that guitarmaking by hand maybe is obsolete?

Get one of those Formica sink cutouts from the Home Depot, just add it to the current table, level with Bondo put packaging tape on the table so the Bondo won't stick to it and you'll be able to take the auxiliary Formica off when ever you need.

Good ideas.
I suppose I could lay a t-track into the formica or plywood so I could continue to use that Rockler tool or a miter gauge.
