I am going to get a replacement set of cuban mahogany sides after i broke the matching ones but they are much lighter in colour than the back. Can i stain both sides and back darker and then apply tru oil? Any recommendations of stainging products. I was planning on an open pore finish as my first looked so good but am open to suggestions,
thanks guys.
