I don't know if this has been posted, but someone might be interested. A router based radiusing jig.

I have the plans - the jig will do a compound radius as well as simple ones. Have not built it yet, but it looks like it will work well.

I bought plans from Rick Michletti (Michletti Guitars) for a fret radius jig, and also a binding jig. The name of this little side venture is "Luthier's CoolTools". It is without a doubt the best jig for radiusing fretboards that I have ever seen. I made this with some doubt in mind. The concept seemed too simple, however, when I tried my first fretboard on a scrap piece of oak, I was amazed! I know I sound like I'm on the payroll....but I'm not. Also, I have had help from Rick over the phone and thru text messages that were helpful and encouraging. Ricks plans are detailed AutoCad drawings that Include hardware needed and where it can purchased.

It would serve Rick well if he put much, much more info and as well as demos in his listings -- now the buyer is really going on blind faith. Other sellers of CAD drawings are able to do this without compromising or revealing too much detail. $.02

Gary -- perhaps you could post some pictures or a video of your radius jig demonstrating its use/process. John and Tim I invite you to do the same.

Will do........I'll take some shots at various angles, with and without the router and accompany it with some feeble dialogue!
