Hi guys. does the bridge plate get glued to the top in the radius deck. My memory is terrible sorry.

No -- I recommend that it is the first component to be glued "flat" to the SB since it will serve as a great locator. The entire procedure and reasoning are shown here:

I have read posts from people who say they glue the bridge plate in the radius dish. I have also read about people who radius their bridge plate before they glue it on. I can see why you would want to do that because when you add the curved braces, you are now forcing something to give. The bridge plate must take on some curve, or resist curving, and the braces need to straighten a bit or resist straightening against the flat bridge plate. Ken, maybe you can explain why you glue the plate flat versus curved? Do you think there is any benefit to sanding a radius into the plate, etc?
