Unknown bolt on installation SOLVED!

OK I have searched for days trying to fine a link to this system and I give up.
I thought I saved it, if I did I hid it on myself, no surprise, I love Alzheimer's, your like a duck, everyday is a new world, there are no old movies and you only need one book. and you can hide your own Easter eggs.
ANYWAY I have no means of drawing a diagram, so I trust that I may be articulate enough to describe what I'm talking about and someone will know what that means...
I'm interested in this system and want to know if it's something NEW, or a waste of time and money...so here goes.
As I recall they are routing two channels on the top of the guitar and the BOTTOM of the fingerboard extension parallel to each other and I think they extend back under the finger board into the neck it's self. They hold a pair of hard wood "Fingers" that look like Lady finger cookies. I believe they are supposed to keep the bolt on neck from moving sideways. I THOUGHT they were glued in place but also used some sort of fasteners as well into the blocks from inside.
They make a metal router jig to help route these channels.
So...there you have it, does it make sense? has anyone else seen this? Is it worth while or a ruse?
Thanks, Ray :)
