Bridge Locating joy

I was ready to locate the bridge prior to applying the finish. I am new at this so I read as much as i could on the subject. Measuring, adjusting, and taping while hoping it doesnt shift. Then there was the issue of the bridge swimming a little while gluing and applying clamping pressure. Again I am a beginner and am sure that many folks have a system down that works well. I didnt. Bingo! I read about the KMG Bridge Setter and clamp.I ordered one and it is awsome. It places the bridge perfectly and you have the ability to relocate the bridge for gluing.I am close to gluing on the bridge and am anxious to use the KMG clamping tool with no worries about the bridge swimming. For me it was a must have tool as I plan on building more guitars. Just my opinion.

And a darn good opinion it is, Jon....I use that bridge setter for all my instruments and my student's as well.

+1. I have used it on all of my guitars so far. 9 or 10 of them.
