Worst Super Bowl ever!!!!!

Commercials were bad too. Bruno Mars was just loud.

Still not sure why the other team (Denver) did not show up for the game?

Very disappointing game. In fact I did not even watch most of the second half.
I think the 49'ers would have been a better match for Seattle.

I'm just thankful that the players didn't see their shadows or we would have 6 more weeks of football!

The Sea Hawks played good fundamental football in every category, including those that are not particularly glamerous. I enjoyed watching them execute as a team.

I believe Peyton Manning set a new record for the number of passes completed in a Super Bowl. The lesson, if one chooses to perceive one, is that one star can't beat a team that is hitting on all cylinders evenly. The "standout star" did not even stand out while setting a record.

The Sea Hawks also have a beautiful mascot.

I had to like the Terry Crews Toyota Highlander commercial. He is a former student of mine who went from football to body building to acting - a fruitful progression for him. The writing for the commercial wasn't so hot, but Terry's energy could not be stopped and he came across anyway.

One last thought - about MVP:

MVP is about making key plays, about exceptional stats, about the readily visible. To give it to the guy who caught the blooper pass created by the effort of another player who hit Manning's arm as he threw it seemed strange indeed. The catcher deserved credit for getting to the ball, of course, but the one in the trenches who created the impaired release deserved at least as much credit. Admittedly, the touchdown that resulted was "readily visible" and the interference with the release was better seen on slow motion replay.

In my view, MVP should have gone to Peyton Manning. He set a new Super Bowl record. Ordinarily that would be enough, perhaps even if Denver had lost, but only by a small margin. It would have been a gas to see them give it to Manning anyway.

I agree with Ken. Superbowls are noted for being horribly lopsided. Can't comment on this much as I turned the channel at halftime. Figuring no team in the NFL could score 26 points against Seattles defense. Don't figure I missed much.
