Success Kit

I think it noteworthy to talk a moment about my experience with KMG.I am finishing my first guitar which was not from KMG.I am still a new beginner and have learned lots of good info on the forum. After reading about the KMG success kits I knew I would be ordering one.Now to my point.I had Questions. Tons of them.Ken has patiently,tirelessly, and respectfully answered them all. Consequently I have ordered the Modern D Success kit.I would encourage anyone but especially beginners to take a serious look at a KMG kit. Based on my experience on a kit from another company I feel my Modern D kit is a better value and I will have to rely less on luck.

Another +1. My first was a KMG OM Success Kit. Ken's online Success Kit Manual and his quick, thoughtful response to any question I had were truly valuable. Even though I am not currently building from a kit, Ken's manual and advice are the guiding principles I use to build.

I think you'll only find positive comments on Ken's kits here. The costumer service he provides is literally the best I've ever had when puchasing anything, ever.

Another +1 from me.
I no longer build kits, but I still follow the instructions from Ken's site. My first few were KMG Success Kits and all of them turned out very well. Excellent neck set angles, action, etc. On one guitar, I didn't follow the KMG instructions to the letter and I had a bad neck angle that took me a long time to correct by shaving the cheeks of the neck heel. Went back to the KMG method and its been smooth sailing. One time, Ken emailed me to ask why I wasn't asking any questions. He thought I had given up on the build! My response was that I was following his instructions and didn't really have any questions that they didn't answer. I completed the build portion on my first kit in 7 weeks. Finishing had to wait for the weather to warm up. I made a blog of that first build and if anyone cares to read it, here is a link:

In hindsight, the url makes it seem like a body building blog, but I can assure you, I am far from a body builder.
