I would like to thank all you guys on the forum for helping me finish. You are all amazing. And special thanks to Ken for all his very useful comments and the things he makes to make it easier to accomplish.

Paul,

Congratulations on a beautiful, clean and efficient, very effective looking instrument.

It is a great feeling to be "done", isn't it?

It is for sure. Now I just have to pick out the one I have built in my head for two years and start it. Thanks for looking.

Nice job! There is nothing better than strumming your own guitar for the first time. What is this log made of?

Thanks Tony. Cedar top. Cedar back. Mahogany ply sides. And yes the kind you put linoleum over. Sapele neck. I really want to see for my ears the difference between soft and a hardwood back. Also 2x4 bracing from normal framing lumber 1/4 sawn. It was a practice / experiment. It sounds decent. I wanted to be sure I could make all the parts my self. I believe I got the cedar idea from you!. It worked out fine. Really.
