Having fun with clamps

I've spent a few hours over the last couple of weeks and made these cam clamps.
I have 9 complete, and still have bar stock and pin stock for 3 more. For under $30 in materials, not bad.
These are the first cam clamps I've had to use. Three are made from birch, and the rest are cherry from a flat sawn 8/4 piece I had and cut up.
The pads will be leather that I already have too.
Fun!

Sure, they are from Shop Notes. It calls for 1/8" x 1" aluminum bar stock. I used some of that then switched to steel as my pins were steel and the softer aluminum bar dents against the harder pins on the sliding jaw. I cut the 1/4" slot for the cam on the router table. I also laid out the two sections together facing each other and drilled two 3/4" holes in the center to create the cut out curves, then cut the excess out on the band saw.
Here you go.
