Sanding Level

My only experience with necks has been as a "Parts changer" on electrics really...
I have a Morado fingerboard for a Martin neck with Paua dots. The board wasn't really finished.. in that the dots were installed and they are protruding above the board with a hump of super glue the size of a dime..
I realize this is pretty rudimentary, but what's the best way to go about sanding these down and NOT messing up the radius? The board has no frets at this point so frets aren't a problem.

Thanks, Ray

Use a long "flat" sanding stick and work length-wise -- you'll not mess up the radius. No you do not need a contoured sanding stick, actually using those can lead to distorting the radius --- think of it as mowing the lawn.
