KMG IA router attachment and bosch palm

Post by mike-p » Mon Jun 03, 2013 4:49 pm

Hi all,

am just considering the attachment of the accessory to the router I have which is a GKF600 Professional. My basic issue is that drilling the holes in the router base will go through the screw on base but also through the matt grey coloured part which the black base is attached to. As this is a pretty common router I am hoping someone has used the same model and can reassure me that I'm doing the right thing before I drill holes in my new router.

thanks all,

Mike

Same as the Colt -- position the KMG attachment so the screw holes are drilled in the "thumb print" area of the router base -- you are not plowing a new field -- been done a zillion times before. Actually by accident not design, I have been told the "L" bracket supplied with those routers will also work with a little modification.
