Neck holder

I made this thing to hold my necks in the vice while I do stuff like radiusing the fretboard and installing frets. It also protects the fretboard extension if I have to ship it off somewhere, like to the inlay guy. It's not fancy, but it works.

That's a clever idea. I'm gonna steal it! :-)

Thanx! BTW I stuck the fretboard to it with double stick craft tape, just strong enough to hold it down without being TOO stuck, such as with the clear acrylic double-stick available from StewMac.

Yup, I'm on this one too. Gonna be busy building jigs.

Great little jig! I can see I will have to make one, too.
Question: where do you get your two-sided craft tape and what is two-sided craft tape? Any cheap two-sided tape you buy at a crafts store or something more specific?
I have been using the two-sided stuff that is sometimes much stickier than I want, so first I stick it onto old t-shirts to put some fine lint on it.
