I cant post a pic of the tools used to take the measurements. Everything is too large. But the upper bout is flat accross the front. the top of the guitar is flat around the neckblock till it starts to break over heading over the shoulders. I get a measurement of 91 degrees from the neck block across the top, which would be the top rising from the neck block to the sound hole by 1 degree from the place the neck joint will be placed. And the original measurement I posted elswhere is 89 not 88 degrees from the soundboard over the neck block. So what would you guys do with this now. And starting over is not an option.

Plus something that is overlooked in most of the (erroneous) neck set info on the internet and even books is that saddle height and bridge thickness play a huge part in the final set up of the guitar. So if you get the neck set straight line you will be able to use those two varibles to tweak the action.

If I understand what you are describing then you are a little flat. If I am correct you can make the tenon using the Simpson jig process. With the neck on the guitar there will be a small gap between the fret board and the body that can be filled with a slim wedge. I would wait for other opinions as I am not sure from your description.

I have read the articles. And I will read them again. The heel is still in a rough form, I have 1/8 to 3/16 to trim still. I left it long just for something like this but the angle on the heel as it stands is 89 deg. My upper bout was built flat.

The tenon end does not touch the mortise, make sure there is some clearance.
