Three or so years so far so good -- you need to make your own (required) dust pick ups

Hi Tim,
It works really well, no problems and I've had it about 6 years. I know they are now selling a different model and a friend bought one, took it right back, it is no good. If you found one like mine you should be good. The belt sander kicks it up, but like Ken said, you got to come up with a way to suck it up, which I don't have rigged up.

All done spraying, now the wait. I put about 45 ounces of lacquer on this guitar, but I will take a little off. I thinned out the last coat and got rid of most of the orange peel this time. I'll wet sand in a bout 3 weeks and then try out my new shop fox buffer. Yeah!

I am looking forward to seeing it. Are you starting a new guitar?

I have the crossover just barely started that will be the next project. I will hopefully work on that again soon.
I am going to go over my very first guitar a bit and adjust the neck relief and change the nut and saddle. I lowered the action a while back and I'm too low on a couple of strings at the nut, and my saddle is smidge too low and I need to adjust the compensation for the low e string too. This has a 3/32 wide saddle so there isn't much adjustment there.
Anyway, the crossover for ME is next at this point.

Waiting while it hangs. It is so warm that I think 2 weeks is going to be long enough to begin wet sanding so I think I'll start this coming weekend. I'll see if my wife will let me do that at the kitchen table as it will be 100 degrees in the shop. Yikes! Humidity is low now too, I've got to get this box in the case and humidified very soon.
