Thank You all, for the warm welcome. I will be ordering the kit next week (income Tax Check Yeah!). Now if I could only decide Dread or 000. I guess its not really going to matter, as a buddy also wants to build a kit too. I may get the 000 full sucess kit and have him buy the Dread full kit . That way we can swap molds for the nexts builds and share some of the more expensive tools. Thanks,Jack.

I profiled the fretboard and radiused it. Its a bit thick still at .330" so I am going to have to thin it more. I thought putting the radius on it would take more thickness off of it, but I was wrong. Back to work the radius sanding block!
Anyway, the profile is set and this is what the finished product will look like. I really like the sapwood and while some people might think it is softer, my plane says it is just as hard as the dark wood.

Thanks for looking!

Sweet fretboard, that is going to be a killer with the rest of the guitar.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I originally wanted to keep more of the sapwood on the board, but that would have aligned the grain lines in a manner I found unattractive, so I went with this orientation. I am most pleased!

That is just gorgeous, Tony! I have a similar peice large enough for two fretboards, waiting for the right guitar to put it on. I can't wait to see how that finishes out.

I just love that Ziricote. I'm using some now on a non-guitar project. Yeah, yeah, yeah, if it's not a guitar who gives a rat's @$$?
