Thanks all and that finish was the Cardinal lacquer. I let it cure a week as dircted and wet sanded and buff it. All-in-All I'm happy with the first attempt using it.

I got the neck and bridge glued on, the tuner holes drilled and the bushing pressed in. I included some pics on the tool I use for pressing in the bushings. It works real good.

Nifty bushing pressing tool! I use a clamp and some cork lined blocks. Works well, but it can get fiddly to keep everything lined up. Until I discovered tape. Now I tape the cork lined blocks onto the clamp faces, then have at it.

I really like the bushing tool as well. The guitar is gorgeous.

Yeah, the bushing tool presses them in nice and even. The guitar is finished and I will be posting pics Wednesday evening after it's new owner picks it up. Wanted him to see the completed project first.
