Re: Scale
When using W-Fret make sure to calibrate for your printer. I use it and once calibrated I've printed out various scale lengths and made acrylic templates to use with my fret slotting system.

Re: Scale
I ended up using Tim's method with the calipers and as far as I can tell it worked spot on. After cutting the frets I re-measured and all is well.
If I have access to a printer I will try the printout method at some time.
Ron - do you have any pix of your template making process?

Re: Scale
I thought I was a MIMF member but I either wasn't or forgot all my sign ons. Anyway, I signed up and am waiting to get permission to go in. I like the idea of those printouts and doing templates. I have two large sheets of poly-carb that works good.
I've "Ben-Had" again!

Sorry for the delay in answering the question. Been away.
Here is a tutorial on the OLF to make fretting templates.
