Yes Tony...you're getting the idea...just don't "Mark it" the way the Puppy dogs DO...or you'll regret it...course it keeps everybody out of your shop..hehehehehe

That's the way we used to "Mark our territory" around high country elk camp...very seldom would any unwanted critters cross that "Line" Especially bears...bears aren't good...especially that late in the year when they are supposed to be sleepin'...if they're not sleepin' they are hungry...NOT GOOD!

I think I better shut-up before I get in trouble..later.. :)

Ok...thinned the top out...look much better now, I'm sure it will conform to the bracing...
HOWEVER, the two halves are separating at the neck end about an inch from the edge...makes me nervous...wonder if we have a poor glue joint HERE TOO?
SO...if I want to repair this...I would cover that portion of the top with de-waxed shellac and use CA? Or?

It's cold...it's snowing...we got 6"and more to come...I'm thinking a nice FIRE would be good right now...dry spruce makes good kindling right? :>)

Actually, nice dry old quarter-sawn BRW makes a dandy fire..slab cut not so much..
