On the first build I was too eager to put it all together and play it so I didn't do a stellar job at rubbing out the finish. It was very smooth but didn't have the crystal clarity that I wanted, or the gloss.

I've taken a bit of time to take off the strings and do some polishing, so it's more mirror-like now. Maybe too much! But the nice grain of the rosewood is still plain to see from most angles.

This weekend I'll go through a set-up on it and see if I can improve on the sound and playability.

Absolutely gorgeous! The polished finish looks great. Now you can not play it or you will get finger prints!

Just beautiful! WARNING though...it won't be your last...something in the wood, or finish or...it's addicting..some say worse than a squirrel and peanut butter... :>)

Most yummy. And I thought it looked great before the rub out.

That is a great looking guitar. I'm a sucker for the OM size/shape. Nice finish!

Whoops, I never noticed Tony's question until now. The finish on the back and sides, after pore-filling with zpoxy, is Minwax Wipe-on Poly.
