A crosscut sled is a beautiful thing. Life-changing even. :) One of the handiest things I made for a friend's table saw that I use often.
You could also screw, or use double sided carpet tape, to fasten the unsquare piece to a square piece that you push through the bandsaw blade with a mitre gauge. Then unfasten the unsquare piece which now has one flat side, and rotate it 90 degrees and use the mitre gauge to do the rest. The 5-cut trick applies here too for ensuring your mitre gauge is precisely 90 degrees to the bandsaw ot tablesaw blade, so you can get a very square workpiece in the end.
