System 3 has the same problem if the measurements aren't accurate. Dries nice and clear though when you get it right.

Z-Poxy will have drying issues if you get the mix wrong, but it is pretty forgiving. I measure by eye. I put the resin on one side of a bowl, the hardener on the other side. When they look to be about the same amount, I mix em up. I have not had a problem yet. And the yellowing from the amber hue of the z-poxy itself is not something I would worry about unless you were using it on a very white wood. I have not noticed any difference in color when I wipe with alcohol or with a coat of z-poxy. The color looks the same to me on the walnut and koa I have used it on. 2 sets of each so far.

I have used Zpoxy and also West Systems epoxies for many years in model building. I like to use the little West Systems epoxy small batch measuring scale is a great way to be sure you are getting the correct mixing ratios. I have had mine for years and it works great. It can be found on amazon for around 32.00.
