Admire the simplicity of your kerfing fixture. Quick and easy and at the same time precise enough. Good design. A production fixture isn't really needed to make linings for a single guitar.
If you wanna go to the "n"th degree of mechanical design, Frank Ford of Gryphon Guitars has, or maybe had, a splendid one at his site. Couldn't immediately find it but here's an Australian copy at: http://www.anzlf.com/viewtopic.php?t=2443
And I'm always impressed with the excellence of your materials and the level of your craftsmanship!

As I'm getting closer to retirement (4 days) I'm finding more time already to be in my shop. Just a little progress on the guitar yesterday.
Back braces radius and glued in place. I also sanded to 220 the inside of the rims and have most of the side bracing in. A couple to go. Using small spruce braces CA
for gluing.

Congratulations on the retirement Kevin. January 1st will be two years retirement for me. I highly suggest it. I repaired copiers for Xerox 39 years and had had quite enough. It is great to have a guitar build to turn to. I thought we would travel but covid hit and changed some perspectives! So golf, fishing and guitars it is.

Making Indian rosewood binding with a maple purfling line from cutoffs from the sides on a previous guitar and a 2 binding strips of maple.
I cut the maple strips down the middle so I have 4 pieces. Using double sided tape I stuck the strips to one of the side pieces of EIR not yet cut up for the binding and ran this through the drum sander to clean up the saw cut edges. The strips were about .100" tall at this point. Then I took these strips and stuck them down again, laid on their sides and ran them through until they were .030" thick.
Bindings were done in a similar fashion.
I glue the purfling to the binding with CA. This works well when bending, no delamination happens.
I just press the purfling and binding together between two wood blocks and wick in the CA doing a spot every 2 inches shooting each one with accelerator. When the whole strip is tacked, I then wick in along the whole length on both sides.
Now they are thicknesses and cleaned up, to .085" thick. Just where I like them. A little work but fun to do and basically free.

End wedge making and install. Cut a 1/8" slice off a EIR bridge blank. Planed it and drum sanded down to .090", just a tad thicker than the sides. Cut and installed with same maple purflings that are on the bottom of the EIR bindings. I plan to miter those purfling junctions.

I am a few days behind you on an 0 size guitar. I am just waiting for some maple strips to complete the ebony bindings I am planning on using.

Sweet John. You are a building machine.
A bit more work done. I like to do test run on scrap when routing for my rosette when doing abalone. I use Teflon strips laid in where the shell will go when gluing in the bwb purfling. I use titebond here, when dry pull the Teflon and inlay the shell. Then I flood the shell with CA building up the approximately 5 thousands that I set the shell below the top of the channel. Misted with accelerator, I can start scraping it all flush right away. I like using a razor blade to do this.
The rosette is done so I started making my braces putting the radius on them in the sanding dish. Next I'll do final thicknessing of the top then glue on the braces
