It should be - this is one that Ken was building before he passed.

I was going to put a hog neck on it, as all I have in stock is mahogany - as in the picture - but I think I'll save up a few bucks and purchase a nice cherry/walnut/cherry laminated neck - the back is a 3-piece c/w/c and the neck should tie in better than the redness of the hog.

I talk to Ken a bit as I work on it. I know that's weird.

Understand the talking not weird at all ... I like mahogany necks! I think when you finish it and it gets a hint of amber it will tie in and look great on that guitar.

Ready finishing yet? I would go to 2000#. Then polish with scratch remover as they use in auto repair.
after that rubbing: High gloss for sure.
But a fluffy cat will do the trick too.
