Acoustic Guitar Construction

Jim, I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the upcoming side bending of this wood. I'm sure the back will be OK but I don't think I would want a really figured back with a set of sides that aren't a match for it. I believe it would look too odd. I'm also kicking around the idea of a back stripe because that grain figure is a lot of visual excitement to take in all at once. I won't attack that until I get a good set of sides though.

John, thanks for your tip on the Super Soft sitting overnight. I will do that with these sides as well.
