backs and 'neck resets'
Re: backs and 'neck resets'
If the humidity drops and precautions are not taken to prevent the sound board from drying out and shrinking --- no amount of carbon rods (placed anywhere) will prevent the bridge from rolling downward on the saddle side and the sound board from becoming concave around the sound hole and finger board extension. Both of which look like string tension on the neck tilted the neck block.

Goes without saying. Humidity rules.
But that is not a knock against CF, right?

Re: backs and 'neck resets'
Never tried CF rods for neck angle control (so I am clueless)-- but some of the assertions I have read regarding applications, in my mind do not add up from a geometric or structural cause and effect point of view.
